Fast growing IT recruitment business makes awards shortlist

Veritas IT has been named as finalist in Financial Director of the Year

Pramod Dhalwani, the finance director of the UKís fastest growing, privately owned IT recruitment business, Veritas IT, has been named as finalist in Financial Director of the Year.

The country-wide search for finalists of the Fast Growth Business Awards is over. After much deliberation Pramod, whoís based at the firmís headquarters in Milton Keynes, has been unveiled as one of four finalists at the Fast Growth Business Awards 2007 in Financial Director of the Year category.

ìPramod only joined us in October 2005 and we were so impressed by his performance that we invited him to join the Board only ten months later. This shortlisting is recognition of all the improvements he has made to the running of our business and we wish him every success on the night,î says Jason Giller, managing director of Veritas IT

Organised by Crimson Business in conjunction with Growing Business magazine, the awards are headline sponsored by T-Mobile. Both Crimson Business and T-Mobile are committed to recognising and rewarding great businesses and the people running them.

The short-listing judges were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of entries. Ian Wallis, editor of Growing Business magazine and Growingbusiness.co.uk comments: ìWith almost 350 entries across 14 categories, the competition was fierce. The four finalists for Financial Director of the Year demonstrated extraordinary contribution to their company, they improved business performance and really made a difference.î

Winners of the awards will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony and three-course dinner at the London Marriott on 29 March 2007. The black tie event, presented by Adrianne Lawler of Sky News, will be an evening to remember. 14 businesses will win their categories and one business will be crowned the T-Mobile Fast Growth Business of the Year.
