Institute of fund raising joins forces with CharityJob

Partnership to deliver a unique fundraising recruitment service to the voluntary sector.

Today, the Institute of Fundraising joins forces with CharityJOB, one of the UKís busiest charity recruitment websites, to deliver a unique fundraising recruitment service to the voluntary sector.

CharityJOB will power a new jobs area on the Instituteís website at www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk. This partnership enables charities to advertise fundraising vacancies, of all levels, on both the Institute and CharityJOB websites, with details emailed to subscribers on the databases of both organisations, for a set fee of 95.

The partnership aims to provide added value for all fundraisers visiting the Instituteís website, and to provide a cost-effective recruitment solution for any charity seeking fundraising professionals.

Lindsay Boswell, Chief Executive at the Institute of Fundraising, says: ìAt the Institute, we are looking not only to breed best practice and enhanced professionalism in fundraising, but also to support and enable the personal development of fundraisers across the sector. This partnership will mean added value for all fundraising professionals visiting our site and to our members. For charities, it is a simple, concerted effort to reduce the recruitment costs facing charities today.î

Raya Wexler, Director of CharityJOB, adds: ìWith this partnership we are in a stronger position to meet the demands of charity employers by tackling fundraising recruitment issues in a more effective way. By working in partnership with the Institute we will be able to direct quality applicants with the right experience to the right jobs.î

The price includes the following:

-Job advertisements appear at both www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk and www.charityjob.co.uk websites

-Advertisers can attach their logo and job application documents to appear with the advertisement

-Details will be emailed to relevant candidates from the CharityJOB database of 62,000 registered jobseekers

-The Institute of Fundraisingís 4,000 individual members have the additional benefit of opting to receive fundraising jobs at all levels straight to their inbox

This partnership closely follows the launch of Careerbank, the personal development tool for fundraisers, and plays a key role in the Institiuteís ongoing mission to serve as a comprehensive resource centre for fundraisers and the fundraising profession.
