Recruiters collaborate with ISV to develop greater customisation for ISVís Fastpath Online product
ISV Group, the UK-based technology training company, today announces new enhancements to Fastpath Online, its flagship training and assessment software.
Fastpath Online is now fully equipped with new search engines and ìdynamic fieldsî capability to provide recruiters with the management features needed to allow them to save time in the recruitment process and make it more efficient and productive. The new features are the culmination of ongoing collaboration with the UK recruitment industry.
The new ìdynamic fieldsî functionality makes the software totally customisable for recruiters. It allows individual consultants to set fields in the software to capture additional data to the standard information that the recruitment company might set. For example, a consultant might wish to capture data that would be unique to a specific vacancy, such as a position that requires a commitment to a very early start. The consultant might want to, say, capture data on a candidateís lifestyle and/or attitude to commuting. As the software requires no IT knowledge or training, the consultant can easily set up these unique fields, and even amend them on the fly. The new search engine capability allows recruiters to make almost instant comparisons of candidatesí skills assessment, capability and availability for the vacancy.

It provides full replication of live software such as Microsoft Office, Lotus, WordPerfect and Sage, and includes keyboard shortcuts to give a more realistic picture of typing skills. The Microsoft Office 2000 assessment simulations closely emulate real-world software applications and business processes, and use both on-screen and audio instructions to guide candidates through each test. Fastpath Online allows candidates to be pre-tested as they apply for jobs via job boards, which allows recruiters to make assessments and comparisons before a candidate has even made contact with them.
