In what was the most successful night in CV-Library’s history, the online job board triumphed with not one but four highly prestigious awards: SME of the Year, Best Career Website, Most Popular Career Website, and a personal win for Managing Director Lee Biggins; Entrepreneur of the Year.

The first of the four awards was SME of the Year at The Thames Valley Business Awards. The awards recognise innovation but also the contribution to emerging businesses. Competition was strong on the night, but CV-Library had the edge due to their current business performance, growth over the past two years and consistent examples of innovation.

The winning streak continued at the Website of the Year Awards – Britain's most important people’s choice awards. This year, the awards attracted nearly 100,000 unique votes for over 200 nominated websites. Alongside CV-Library, other finalists in the career category included competitors Jobsite, Monster and Totaljobs. CV-Library beat the competition to the honour of being named Best Career Website for the second year running, after receiving the highest score for best overall usability, and was also awarded Most Popular Career Website.

The final win was a personal accomplishment for Lee Biggins, as the talented and innovative Managing Director was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Inspire Business Awards. Rounding off an exciting period for Biggins, with the recent completion of an internal eight figure buyout which witnessed him take 100% of the business.

“As a natural entrepreneur I have always wanted to push myself and those working with me to the next level” said Biggins.

“Since the takeover in September, every area of the business has experienced growth and I’m putting more back into CV-Library than ever before; supporting internal recruitment drives and staying one step ahead with our technical development.

“I’m more excited than ever before about the next 12 months; with a dynamic global project really taking shape and CV-Library continuing to hit the headlines thanks to our growth and innovation, what’s not to look forward to?”

CV-Library was also highly commended for Dynamic Business of the Year.
