Recruiting? The Search Is Over

Insights launch recruitment version of discovery personal profile

A new set of recruitment profiles is launched this week which introduces new levels of speed, accuracy and assurance to the screening process, removing the uncertainly and unease which can accompany psychometric testing.

Designed specifically to meet the needs of recruitment agencies assessing more than 500 candidates a year, Searchlight can stand alone as a Candidate Profile, or can be used with the Job Personality Profile to provide the best possible match between the vacant role and the applicants.

The system is an extension of Insights Learning and Developmentís highly respected Discovery Personal Profile, which has been used in management development for almost a decade.

As Searchlight is online, colleagues can complete their role assessment when and where it suits them, as can candidates for the job. The system emails regular progress updates to the recruiter. It also eases any potential pressure on the applicants, who can find psychometric testing stressful. They can be emailed a copy of their Searchlight Profile ñ without the suggested interview questions that are also received by the recruiter.

ìWeíve worked with some of Britainís leading recruitment agencies to ensure that Searchlight is not only highly accurate, but also functions in the most efficient and helpful way for their requirements,î said Richard Hoyle, Senior Business Development Manager, who is launching the new product in the Software Showcase at the CIPD Annual Exhibition this week (wk beg Oct 21, 2002).

Mark Brown of Active Resource, one of the recruitment agencies already using Searchlight, said: ìAs a result of the introduction of Searchlight, we now have better choices to address the needs of our clients. This allows us to provide an accurate Profile as a value added service at a nominal charge.î
