Kai McCabe, managing director of Search Consultancy,UK based total recruitment solutions agency, has scooped the Readersí Award at the annual Scottish Business Insider Elite Awards.
The Insider Readersí award, one of six Insider Elite Awards, is selected by the magazineís 50,000 readers, and is awarded for outstanding leadership and/or achievement during the past year.
On receiving the Readersí Award last night, Kai McCabe said, ìIím really thrilled to have won this award. Itís great news for the company, and comes in a year which has seen a number of major milestones for us, including the opening of our North of Scotland operation in Aberdeen and our first office in London.î
She added, ìNext year promises to be just as exciting, with the opening of our next ìsuper-siteî in Birmingham in January.î

The Insider Elite Awards in Edinburgh were hosted by BBC newsreader Sally Magnusson in front of a 500-strong audience from the Scottish business community. The Insider leadership lecture, always a highlight of the event, was delivered by the most powerful woman in British football, Karren Brady.
The awards, launched in 1992, recognise inspirational characters and outstanding leaders in Scotlandís business community and have become widely known as ìScotlandís business Oscars.î
