Thames Water Utilities Ltd, which provides water services to over 13 million customers in the Thames Valley, including London, has published its Corporate Responsibility Report detailing the companyís performance during 2003.
Among the highlights are:
- expanded coverage of social and economic issues, alongside in-depth coverage of environmental performance - an area in which the company has regularly reported for over a decade
- a new section covering the key issues of concern to Thames Waterís stakeholders - leakage, sewer flooding, odour and pollution incidents
- an explanation of how water prices are set and the companyís investment priorities. This is especially topical, in light of Thames Waterís recently published Business Plan for 2005-2010, which was submitted to Ofwat as part of the water regulatorís Periodic Review.
