VMA Group launches Northern Division

VMA Group, the specialist corporate communications search and selection consultancy, has announced the launch of a Northern Division with offices in the centre of Manchester.

This move reflects the growing market for corporate communications professionals outside of the South East area, as an increasing number of blue chip companies, as well as public and voluntary sector bodies, relocate their Head Offices and key functions away from London. In addition, several leading PR and communications consultancies have offices in cities such as Manchester and Leeds. While VMA Group has always operated on a UK-wide basis, there is a clear need for specialist communications expertise to service this client and candidate base closer to home.

VMA Group has appointed Lucinda Barber to head up its Northern Division. Lucinda joins from Network Marketing, the Manchester-based marketing communications recruitment consultancy. Her experience spans the in-house and agency sectors, and she has worked with some of the biggest companies and consultancies in the North West. Lucindaís in-depth knowledge of the marketplace and high profile in the recruitment industry made her the ideal choice to lead VMA Groupís move into this area.
