WCN has been selected as a finalist in the 2014 Onrec online Recruitment Awards – one of the online recruitment industry’s most prestigious awards.
WCN has been shortlisted alongside Jobs.ac.uk for ‘The Technical Innovation Award’. WCN and jobs.ac.uk, a specialist jobs board for Higher Education, partnered to create e-jobs, an affordable and low risk applicant tracking system (ATS) for universities and FE colleges. The solution incorporates all the standard features of a full ATS at an affordable price.
WCN, the leading e-Recruitment software provider, has also helped two other clients reach the finals of the awards. J.P.Morgan has been shortlisted for ‘The Best Candidate Experience Award’. J.P.Morgan has consistently delivered an excellent experience to its candidates for many years. Working with WCN, J.P.Morgan provides an extensive online process that incorporates advanced job and events searching, application and seamlessly integrated bespoke assessments. This includes an interactive communication centre with the ability to track progress, book assessments, accept offers online, provide feedback and book events.
Eversheds via WCN has also been shortlisted for ‘The Best Candidate Experience Award’. Eversheds wanted to improve accessibility for candidates on its careers website, in line with the firm’s commitment to diversity and disability services. Working with Diversity Jobs and WCN, Eversheds introduced a ‘talking toolbar’ that reads web pages aloud in 20 different languages, with features such as colour contrast manipulation making it easier for candidates who struggle to read websites due to a disability or a language barrier.
The judges for the 2014 awards include Steve Playford, MD – Financial Times Career Management, Nigel Bicknell, Director of Business and Product Development – Guardian News & Media, Matt Alder - Consultant on Digital, Mobile and Social Media Marketing Strategies for Talent Acquisition, Recruiting and HR, amongst others. The winners will be announced on 20th March at the black tie awards evening at The Grange St Pauls Hotel, London.
