Personal Shopper, Customer Service Assistant and Pharmacy Manager are the top three most in-demand jobs in the UK, according to new data from LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network.
As companies continue adapting to doing business in a COVID-19 world, LinkedIn analysed the roles most in-demand by employers today. These roles have seen the highest percentage growth between June and July 2020 indicating where demand is growing the fastest, and present immediate opportunities for job seekers today.
Many of the roles are in the customer service and support space and require excellent communication skills, which is the number one most sought after skill by employers globally right now according to LinkedIn data. Soft skills are essential skills that help people be great at their role and are highly valued by companies today.

Methodology:
LinkedIn analysed job postings data during June and July 2020 to determine the most in-demand roles in the UK based on month-over-month percentage growth. Only premium jobs were analysed. Jobs from the Staffing industry were excluded from the analysis. LinkedIn also analysed the skills listed in job postings globally to note the most in-demand skills by volume.
