Evenbreak becomes an Employer for Carers

Evenbreak – the UK’s leading disability job board, becomes the latest organisation to join Employers for Carers - a service for employers seeking to support carers in their workforce.

As carers are twice as likely than the general public to have health concerns, the move complements Evenbreak’s approach of solely hiring applicants with lived experience of a disability or condition.

Jane Hatton, CEO of Evenbreak said “We are delighted to partner with Carers UK and be an Employer for Carers. We know that our current or future employees may also be carers and want employees to bring their whole selves to a work environment that’s flexible and supportive.”

Madeleine Starr, Director of Business Development and Innovation from Carers UK also said

“With our ageing population and loved ones with disabilities living for longer, juggling paid work with unpaid care is becoming increasingly common, especially since the pandemic. We are delighted to welcome Evenbreak as a member of Employers for Carers and look forward to working together in the future.”
