Global disability inclusion: Join us to discuss the future of recruitment and tech

Join Business Disability Forum’s Global Conference (online) on 1 November 2023 to discuss the roles that recruitment and technology can play in creating a more inclusive and accessible future. This half day conference is sponsored by HSBC.

‘Better Together – Creating an accessible and inclusive world’ will consider how global business can use its approaches to recruitment and technology to make the world more disability inclusive. Expert speakers will debate the challenges facing organisations in these two key areas and the power of diversity to provide solutions. Global businesses will share practical advice from their own experiences of inclusive partnership working.

Conference speakers and sessions

The conference will be a mix of key note speeches and panel discussions. Confirmed key note speakers include:

  • Diane Lightfoot, CEO, Business Disability Forum
  • Carolanne Minashi, Global Head of Inclusion, HSBC (UK).

Working together to recruit disabled talent: Panel discussion 1

The first panel session will look at how diversity in recruitment can bring vibrancy and fresh thinking to organisations. Global organisations will share their own experiences of finding and recruiting disabled talent and the value of partnership working. Confirmed panel members include:

  • Danielle Meadows, Executive Director and Head of the Business Solutions Team – BeST, JPMorgan Chase & Co (USA)

Better Together with Tech: Panel discussion 2

Learn what they have been doing, what is possible and how they have been able to be so innovative. The answer might lie in who they employ and choose to work with. Hear too from a smaller company using AI in innovative ways to help bring people together around the world. Confirmed panel members include:
