Project Management Portal

A new Project Management Portal www.pmlifeline.com launched at the Project,Process and Resource Management show at Birmingham's Motorcycle museum on 30th April 2003.

Offering a wide range of features and functions, one of the most well received sections was the project management specific job board - carrying ONLY jobs within the projects arena. With an option for individuals to register for jobs
to be emailed direct to an email account the first indications were that it will be a well used function.


PMlifeline is an independent site that encourages interaction from all members of the project management community. Features such as PMMentor and PMForum provide a message board facility for the sharing of ideas and possible problem/issue resolution from a panel of regarded experts in all project management disciplines.

PMNews provides news direct to your desktop with the distinction that it is news from within project management as it happens.

PMEvents and PMTraining lists relevant and vetted courses, seminars and exhibitions that are of relevance to the real world issues faced by Project Managers.

PMFeatures contains articles and editorials written by individuals who have learned from experience and who can provide real world assistance and advice through thought provoking pieces. With a 'comments' option at the end of each and every article, if you disagree or have a different view point you are encouraged to have your say! The added benefit is self promotion for you and/or your organisation.

PMPerspectiv-e is a quarterly downloadable publication (pdf) that tackles real world issues through interviews and case studies. The first topic is entitled 'Project Management in the Real World' and shall be available from the end of May.

PMGadgets and PMReviews provides an independent perspective on tools, software, books and products that claim have a place in every project or programme manager's armoury.
