Partnership Strengthens Peopleclick''s Permanent Recruiting Solution with Powerful Screening and Assessment Technology, Enabling Recruiters to Spot Talent at an Early Stage
Peopleclick supplier of workforce management technology and services, today announced it has entered into an alliance with SHL supplier of objective assessment and employee development.
The partnership provides Peopleclick with an integrated set of tools for automated employee screening and assessment on a global basis. SHL''s job specific assessments use validated tests to efficiently filter applicants early on in the recruitment process, providing employers with a shortlist of only the most suitable candidates. The solution will be on display simultaneously at the end of June in Europe and the U.S. at the HR Software Show in London and the Society for Human Resource Management''s annual conference in Orlando, Fla.
Traditionally, recruitment management systems have not supported effective screening and assessment. Recruiters have been required to read through and evaluate hundreds of resumes or CVs and make subjective judgments regarding the suitability of candidates for particular positions. In systems where screening capabilities have been incorporated, users have been exposed to legal liability and ineffective assessment by being forced to create their own content. The integrated Peopleclick-SHL offering reduces this regulatory compliance risk by eliminating the need for subjective evaluation, freeing recruiters to focus their talents on placing qualified candidates in their organization.
Peopleclick''s clickXG-RMS is the world''s most powerful, flexible and comprehensive recruitment management system. Its Web-based design enables real-time, collaborative recruiting that streamlines the hiring process and supports fair recruitment practices. Once integration is complete, clickXG-RMS users can assess candidates at any point in the recruitment process by using SHL''s validated online tests to ''talent match'' the best people to the most suitable role.
Matching an individual''s abilities to the exact needs of the job is fundamental to the success of any organization - ensuring increased productivity and less employee turnover. Objective assessment and screening is proven to help recruiters find the best candidate, and by automating this process the recruitment cycle becomes even more efficient and cost effective, freeing up valuable time for HR professionals, said John Bateson, chief executive officer, SHL Group plc. SHL is committed to providing Peopleclick''s customers with the most comprehensive screening and assessment tool in the industry to help build a talented and diverse workforce.
We are delighted to be working with a company like SHL which has demonstrated leadership in the global screening and assessment market, said Erik Morse, vice president for product management for Peopleclick. With the growth and competitiveness in the workforce technology space, we are continually looking for ways to differentiate our solutions. Partnering with SHL on assessment not only strengthens our recruiting solution but also our market leading position in the EEO/Affirmative Action compliance arena.
The Peopleclick/SHL candidate screening and assessment tool will be demonstrated simultaneously in the UK and the US at the end of June: at the HR Software Show, June 25-26, 2003, London''s Olympia 2 exhibition hall, booth B66 and the Society for Human Resource Management''s annual conference, June 22-25, 2003, at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, booth 1527.
