Survey shows Irish hot-heads blame bad bosses

Over 12,000 votes were cast across Monsterís 14 sites in Europe, which asked, ìWhat makes you angry about your job?î revealing the following results:

39% said: ìBad management.î
30% said: ìI feel my career path is stunted.î
24% said: ìSeeing that my work is under appreciated.î
7% said: ìToo heavy a workload.î

Visitors to the Irish website, Monster.ie revealed the following results:

42% said: ìBad management.î
27% said: ìI feel my career path is stunted.î
25% said: ìSeeing that my work is under appreciated.î
6% said: ìToo heavy a workload.î

The Irish figures clearly reflect the European average, with nearly 50% of respondents blaming bad management causing their anger in the workplace. A staggering 56% of Danes blame bad management for feelings of anger, closely followed by the Dutch, Luxembourgers and Brits. Much higher than the European average, workers in these countries are illustrating an emergence of a culture in which workers are not afraid to express their frustration.
